Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern the engagement between StackFlowWorks, registered at 727190, Nr. 205, Dorna Candrenilor, Romania, and any client ("you" or "Client") engaging our professional engineering services. By initiating a project or submitting a request, you agree to be bound by these terms.

§ 1 — Scope of Services

StackFlowWorks provides full-stack web engineering, workflow automation, API integration, cloud infrastructure, and related technical services as described on our service pages. Each engagement is scoped individually with defined deliverables, timelines, and pricing.

§ 2 — Payment Terms

All service fees are quoted in advance and require full or partial payment before work commences, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Payments are processed through our secure Stripe integration. Invoices are due within 14 calendar days of issuance.

§ 3 — Project Delivery & Acceptance

Deliverables are provided according to the agreed timeline. Client review periods of 7 business days apply to each milestone. Failure to provide feedback within this period constitutes acceptance of the delivered work.

§ 4 — Intellectual Property

Upon full payment, all custom code, designs, and configurations developed specifically for the Client transfer to the Client's ownership. StackFlowWorks retains the right to use generalized methodologies, frameworks, and non-proprietary patterns developed during engagements.

§ 5 — Limitation of Liability

StackFlowWorks' total liability for any engagement shall not exceed the total fees paid by the Client for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from service delivery.

§ 6 — Confidentiality

Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality of proprietary information shared during the engagement. This obligation survives termination of the service agreement for a period of 24 months.

Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how StackFlowWorks uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website. We believe in transparency and minimal data collection — our cookie usage is limited to essential site functionality.

What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your preferences and enable core functionality. They do not contain executable code or personal identifying information beyond session tokens.

Essential Cookies We Use

StackFlowWorks uses only essential cookies required for site operation: a session cookie for maintaining navigation state and a localStorage flag for your cookie consent preference. We do not deploy analytics tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or third-party behavioral monitoring scripts.

Managing Cookies

You can control cookie behavior through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may impair site functionality. Our cookie consent banner allows you to accept or decline cookies at first visit, with your preference stored locally for future sessions.

Third-Party Cookies

We do not allow third-party services to place cookies on your device through our website. Google Maps embedded on our contact page may set cookies per Google's own policy — these are governed by Google, not StackFlowWorks.

Compliance

This policy complies with the EU ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC) and the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679. For questions, contact [email protected].

IV.

Refund Policy

StackFlowWorks is committed to delivering measurable value on every engagement. We understand that circumstances change and provide a clear refund framework to protect both parties' interests.

§ 1 — Pre-Project Cancellation

If you cancel before any work has commenced, you are entitled to a full refund of any advance payment within 5 business days. Cancellation must be communicated in writing to [email protected].

§ 2 — Mid-Project Cancellation

If you cancel after work has commenced, you will be invoiced for all work completed up to the cancellation date, calculated as a percentage of the total project scope. Any advance payment exceeding the work completed will be refunded within 10 business days.

§ 3 — Deliverable Disputes

If delivered work materially deviates from the agreed specifications, you must notify us within 7 business days of delivery. We will assess the claim and, if validated, either remediate the deliverable at no additional cost or provide a proportionate refund.

§ 4 — Completed Services

Services fully delivered and accepted per the project milestones are non-refundable. This includes work that has been reviewed and approved during the 7-day client feedback window specified in our Terms of Service.

§ 5 — Refund Process

All refunds are processed via the original payment method (Stripe). Processing time is 5–10 business days from approval. For questions, contact [email protected] with your project reference number.
